16, 2012 I’ll keep on remembering this day for it’s the first day I celebrated
my birthday with a cake and candles over it together with my workmates -- ang
mga officemates ko na hindi alam na nagbirthday pala ako 15 days
ago…
I like surprises… but this one made me cry. Yeah, I
cried when I hear them singing the Happy Birthday song with a cake and candles
over it – nagCR lang ako and then pagbalik ko, may bilog na bagay na sa mesa at
sila’y kumakanta. It is unusual to open a celebration upon happening of the
event to be celebrated.
An accountant may think that it has lost its relevance but what is essential is
to feel the simple effort others did to give time at one’s special day -- my
birthday!
